This is because the colour you choose is dyed and washed to the required colour before weaving and the carpet is then woven and the colour does not change after completion. This is due to the fact that the fabric is first dyed then hand-knotted and finally the pile is shaved and then washed to get a final result when dry. Like pottery, these colors are not certain until full completion of the carpet. In most cases, the colours turn out better than expected and have a variance of about 10-15% from the CAD.
